With the economic crisis in full swing, and my kids using up toothpaste and flushable wipes like crazy, I have resorted to run to the dollar store for some re-stocking items that won't break our tighter budget. Here is what I have found:

Matthew and Olivia either lose or outgrow their socks quick! Luckily, the dollarstore has some nice socks for kids! they come 3 to a pack! and they are WAY comfy! I prefer them better than any other socks I have gotten at the GAP or OLD NAVY!
Kids toothpaste and toothbrush! they have a spongebob toothbrush and crest toothpaste combo!
Squidsoap! this is GREAT for preschoolers! it marks your hand when you push the pump down and it comes off after you wash your hands long enough to be considered sanitary! This is what has taught Matthew to wash his hands! this is a dollar deal to stock up on! the soap usually runs for about 3 to 4 bucks at Target or Walmart but they must be changing the box or something because they are at the dollar store! So, I bought 5! and should be all I need for a for 6 months!
And there you have it! They also have some Sesame Street baby wipes that are to thin for baby's bum but perfect to have in your bag for drool, boogers or wet wipes for potty! So, go and stock up! they are regular brands, and it saves you a trip to Costco where you kind of have to spend some $$ to get some basic necessities!
