Crockpot "Way Too Easy" Tortilla Soup

If you want something quick and easy...here it is!

2 cans chicken broth
5 corn tortillas cut up into strips
handful of cheddar cheese
2 uncooked chicken breasts cut into chunks
1 can of corn (or frozen corn)
1 cup chunky salsa
black beans

Put in crockpot for several hours.The tortillas will break down and thicken the soup.

Top with cheese, tortilla chips (you can cut up more corn tortillas, mix them with EVOO and bake them to have homemade tortilla chips), a little sour cream, etc

Free desk

We have a corner computer desk that has been sitting in our garage for almost a year now and its up for grabs. We need to get rid of it asap because we are having laminate flooring put in this weekend and need to free up some space in our garage for them to move easily in and out. If nobody claims it by Thursday it's going to good will. Sorry I don't have a pic but if you are interested give me a call and you can come by to look at it.

Free gift

Several months back I posted on our blog about some FREE pearl earrings I had received from Helzberg Diamonds. They are pearl earrings, nothing fancy and only worth about $25 dollars but if anybody would like a pair they sent me another offer and it's up for grabs. There was absolutley no catch the last time we went. I handed them the card and they brought me the earrings. It was that easy. I'm not sure if I had to show ID but either way I can go with whoever wants them and pick them up. First one to comment can have them.

Ok, I admit, I LOVE CLOTHES! so yesterday, as I was looking for a cute summer shirt (if you know me, you know I don't have anything bright!) I stumbled upon this new clothes line from Forever 21. Summer clothes are so frustrating to find because you want something light but modest. LAYERS clothing is great, but pricey. So, I usually go to Forever 21 and just look at what they have. Well Forever21 just came out with a new line called LOVE21 Contemporary. The line is full of stylish clothes at good prices and they are MODEST! Starting June every Tuesday and Wednesday Regal Cinemas is offering free G and PG movies at 10:00 a.m. It's first come first serve and goes all summer long. The closest theatres for us would either be the Cielo Vista near Ingram or the Fiesta 16 on Vance Jackson. The website has a list of the movies they will be playing.
